ART EDELSTEIN GUITARIST

Memorable Music Makes a Wedding/Event Special

"We feel so lucky to have found you for our wedding...The music was truly superb! I really think that your music added a special touch that would just not have been achieved with a cd-player. The melodies were so beautiful and made for perfect background music for our ceremony and for dinner. When we first told everyone that we were having a "Celtic guitarist" play at our wedding, we got a few raised eyebrows... but I think everyone was impressed with how wonderful you sounded and by dinner time they all understood why we chose you. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding so special and memorable for us and our guests. Please use us as a reference anytime!!"
Robin & Bruce Frans from Massachusetts.

" If only we could have had more time enjoy every note you played -- we envy our guests! Thank you for sharing your gift with us, our family, and friends. Your music enhanced the day and added immensely to the memories we will savor for a lifetime." --- Marcia and Dan Needham, Maine

Art, Thank you very much! Your music was beautiful and it added just the right touch to an amazing day. Our wedding was picture perfect; the rolling green hills, the bright blue sky, all of our friends and family and the gentle notes of your guitar being carried on the breeze. Thank you, Shelby & Danny Knight (Wedding September 3, 2005)

When it is important to present tasteful live music for your wedding or special event consider the music of Vermont-based guitarist Art Edelstein.

Art specializes in playing Celtic music--the jigs, reels, and airs of Ireland, Scotland and England. This is music that is both old and timeless. Entertainment that is sweet, soothing, and unobtrusive.

Art's fingerstyle guitar playing--a combination of rich bass notes and melodic passages-- evokes the drone of the pipes and the timbre of the harp.

With his guitar Art brings the music of Ireland’s most famous early composer the harper Turlough Carolan (1678-1738) to a new audience. This is the music that has fueled the renaissance of interest in Irish music in recent years.

Diners in Vermont in the Montpelier area at Main Street Grill and Bar, Marsala Salsa, Bellini’s, The Heart of the Village Inn Shelburne, the Inn at Essex, Gallagher’s Pub, Tubbs Restaurant, the Tucker Hill Lodge, Kahagen Inn, the Greenwood Lodge, and the Horn of the Moon Restaurant have already enjoyed a meal with Art’s music as an accompaniment.

On occasion, clients have asked Art to provide other instrumentalist for their special event. At these times, Art works with a number of superb musicians who play fiddle, cittern, mandolin, banjo, accordion and pennywhistle.
